Monday night, there was a theme running through public comments about a disconnect between the public and the city. Your council members are your primary connection to city staff. Certainly I’ve been lousy about posting my events to social media, and I’ll do better. I have three or four meet & greet events every month, and I try to mix them up so there can be a time, place, and venue that works for anybody. Everybody is welcome. My monthly newsletter includes the calendar, as well as the inside scoop on city issues, so that’s another way to be more connected.
